• 4 missions were made in this periode to identify patients for
potential cataract surgery. Approximately 70 patients were identified. The four missions took place on 22-22 January, 29-30 January, 9-11 February and 24-26 Feburary, 2012

Candidates for cataract operations were early to the hospital for
their briefing and treatment before the operation. Elev

iris to dilate due to internal infection. Antibiotics were prescribed to the said patients.
The second batch containing 19 patients came in from Baras,
Malmis, and Matahimik, Baco and remaining patients from Saclag, San Teodoro and Puerto Galera. Final screening was readily done. Out

A total of 20 patients underwent Cataract surgery. Several patients were not eligible for cataract surgery but
were treated for other sufferings, given reading glasses etc.

o Mefenamic Acid 500 mg caps: 10 capsules each
