1. The CATANDUANES STATE COLLEGES through the General Appropriations Act for CY 2011 intends to apply the sum of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY FOUR THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED EIGHTY ONE PESOS ONLY (Php254,581.00) being the Approved Budget
for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Procurement of Medicines,
Medical Supplies and Equipments. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically
rejected at Bid opening.
2. The CATANDUANES STATE COLLEGES now invites Bids for the Procurement of Medicines, Medical Supplies and Equipments: ITEM DESCRIPTION

Bidders should have completed within two (2) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly in Section II, Instructions to Bidders. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non- discretionary pass/fail criteria as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations, Part-A (IRR-A) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Act.” 4. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from Catanduanes State Colleges, Main Campus, Calatagan, Virac, Catanduanes and inspect the bidding documents at the address
below from 9:00 to 11:00AM and 2:00 to 4:00PM

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the
address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee in the amount of Ph1,000.00 (One
Thousand Pesos Only).

6. The Catanduanes State Colleges will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on June 24, 2011 (Friday) at
9:00AM at the Graduate School Seminar Room, 3rd Floor, Administration Building,
CSC Main Campus, Calatagan, Virac, Catanduanes which shall be opened to all
interested parties who have purchased the bidding documents.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before July 6, 2011 (Wednesday). All bids
must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in
ITB Clause 18 and BDS 18.1.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids will not be accepted. 8. Bid Opening shall be on July 6, 2011 at 9:00AM in the Graduate School Seminar Room, 3rd
Floor, Administration Building, CSC, Virac, Catanduanes. 9. The Catanduanes State Colleges reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the Bidding process and to reject all Bids at any time prior to the contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
