2014 1L LCLD Scholars Program
In connection with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pipeline Committee’s 1L Scholar Program, we are pleased to announce the McGuireWoods/Exelon Energy Internship. This partnership between McGuireWoods and Exelon will provide a unique opportunity for the selected 1L law student to work side by side with McGuireWoods and Exelon Legal Department attorneys in Baltimore on energy regulatory, policy and transactional matters. The 2014 McGuireWoods/Exelon Energy Internship will provide other networking opportunities including:
• Attendance at the 1L LCLD Scholars Retreat ( June 2014)
• Participation in the LCLD Law School Mentor Program
• Dedicated LinkedIn Page for 1L LCLD Scholars
Applicants are considered based on their leadership experience, diversity related student organization involvement, and personal achievements. Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in the energy field. Application packets should include: • Completed Application

________ Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander The selected 1L LCLD Scholar will receive an 8-week (May 19 – July 11) paid internship ($1500 per week) during the summer of 2014. The first four weeks will be spent working in the Baltimore office of McGuireWoods and attending the LCLD Scholars Retreat in Dallas, TX. The final four weeks will be spent working in the legal department of Exelon Corporation in Baltimore.
