RESEARCH UNDERTAKEN:
Currently working on Nasal drug delivery system.
Formulation and evaluation of hydroxypropyl β Cyclodextrin Complexes of Cefixime –
an approach to improve antibacterial activity of Cefixime.
Formulated complexes were evaluated for following parameters
a) Solubility studies (in different solvents).
b) Formulated complexes were evaluated for drug-polymer interaction by I R spectral
c) Formation of complexes were evaluated by DSC analysis.
d) Formulated complexes were evaluated by XRD analysis.
e) Drug content uniformity (by UV Shimadzu –1700).
f) In vitro drug release by USP IIIXX dissolution apparatus.
h) Antibacterial activity (For both gram +ve and gram –ve organism).
CERTIFICATION:
Scientific presentation on drug delivery system in “II international Conference and Indo- Canadian satellite symposium on pharmaceutical science, technology, practice and natural products” February, 2007. Two papers are presented in the 1st Phamatech IAPST International conference on “Drug Delivery & Drug Targeting Research”, Jadavpur University Kolkata-32.Jan. 19th & 20th 2008.
